I can tell by the photo that you will need both a new bladder and a new cap. I've replaced a few in my time... Trust me. If you were to reuse the cap, it would not want to sit flush and would let the bladder burp out the side again like this one has.
Save yourself the trouble, spend the $30 and buy the new parts. |

You need a new bladder, bladder cap and need fresh oil in your damper and a bleed. It's an easy fix and only $30 in parts. Your bladder is now shot and your bladder cap is bent up where the bladder has bulged out.
DO NOT try and reuse the cap or the bladder. They are both junk at this point. They will not hold the seal and it will happen again. |

XT wheelset, XT cranks (with shimano BB, There's no point in upgrading BB right away). 2.35 sticky rubber Minnion DHF, Gravity lite stem. No need for a King headset either. Cane Creek S3 is good enough. I have them on a few bikes and they work great.
